Kevin Rose has been praised as “a performer with skill and confidence, not to mention a gorgeous, clear voice.” A versatile singer, Kevin can shift styles with ease from pop and jazz to musical theater and classical music. Kevin performs with his own musicians structuring group size from a duo to quartet based on client needs. When not headlining The DC Transit Act, a successful entertainment act that plays weddings and corporate events he performs, teaches and acts. His wide range of material for the corporate, wedding and private party customer is evidenced by his varied resume; in 2019 Kevin appeared in the American Pops Orchestra premiere of “An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” at Arena Stage. in 2018 with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in over 20 countries with his show “Feelin’ Good.” In 2017 Kevin performed in the US tour of Dido and Aeneas with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and brought series “If Not Now, When?” to the historic Metropolitan Room in NYC. Speaking of New York, he counts venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Town Hall, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Dimenna Center for Classical Music, Merkin Concert Hall, and The 92nd St Y. As an actor he has been seen in Frank Wildhorn’s Bonnie and Clyde, The Life of Galileo, and Songs for a New World (New American Theater).
