Coming to music by way of the high fashion industry, Heather understands that music truly sets the mood. With honed mixing skills, Heather has delivered soundtracks for runway shows, parties and events for clients such as Motorola, Kodak, Virgin America, Ferrari, Barney’s New York, and Vogue.
This DJ has spun in exceptional locations, including the Air and Space Museum, the The Kennedy Center, Corcaran Gallery of Art, and literally on the Mall in Washington D.C. for a packed dance floor. In New York, she has spun for Gap, in their Times Square windows, and played for a prestigious party at Grand Central Station. Currently, Heather plays at the exclusive L2 Lounge in Georgetown, Washington D.C. with globetrotting mix of genres.
Prior to working in music, Heather was the fashion director for Nordstrom. She was the creative force behind the musical backdrop to many large scale fashion shows. She understands the workings of large scale events and productions. Repeat appearances on the national “Today” show were a great education in public speaking. Yearly trips to Europe, and DJ industry events keep Heather up to date on the most current music trends.
Recently, Heather has provided discerning couples with a customized soundtrack to their wedding day that culminates in a great dance party. Weddings provide the perfect canvas for a key combination of excellent people skills, creativity, & professionalism.
Heather is a fantastic DJ – she can rock the sounds of a Hotel Monaco or European villa party like no other, with crazy smooth transitions and a chic elegance that really adds the wow-factor to the event. Her set for our launch party in the VIP was exceptional!
